Happy new music Tuesday! Here at MFR headquarters we are excited to present you with an opportunity to share your favorite bands with nutty musicheads like us. We must say that some of our favorite emails are those that have come from you telling us about the rad tunes you are currently blasting through your speakers. Nothing would make us happier than you taking part in a platform to share that!

Plumspotter is a super cool new Minneapolis-based startup where music nerds like us can share our favorite new bands and earn bragging rights as an authority on great new music. Why become part of another interweb network, you might ask? It’s about simplifying band discovery, bottom line. You share music, you find music, and your ears are happy.

Here is how it works:
As a Spotter you pick your top 5 bands on the rise. You then gain plumpoints as other Spotters also pick your favorites. Watch your points rack up and be identified as a top Spotter! There is also a sweet broadcast function where you can tell your followers about a cool new band that did not quite make your top 5. Each Spotter also builds a track record, meaning you can prove you were the first to discover the next band to hit it big (say what?!). It is brilliantly simple. Follow Spotters that you feel have great taste in music and identify trending bands on a daily basis.
